Thank you for trusting Believe in the Beauty: Smile Edition! To protect your bright new smile and achieve the best results, please follow these guidelines for the first 24–48 hours after your whitening session:
The “White Diet” – What You Can Eat & Drink
Stick to light-colored, non-staining foods and beverages:
• Water (best choice for hydration)
• Milk, white or clear sparkling water
• Plain chicken, turkey, fish, or tofu
• White rice, pasta, bread, or potatoes
• Cauliflower, peeled cucumbers, or mushrooms
• Egg whites
• White cheeses, plain yogurt
• Clear sodas or coconut water
(Think: if it would stain a white shirt, it could stain your teeth.)
For 24–48 hours, avoid foods and drinks that are dark, acidic, or staining:
• Coffee, tea, red wine, colored sodas, or sports drinks
• Dark sauces (soy, tomato, curry, balsamic vinegar)
• Berries, cherries, grapes, beets
• Chocolate and candy with dyes
• Smoking or vaping (can cause immediate discoloration)
• If you must drink something besides water, use a straw to minimize contact with teeth.
• Avoid extremely hot or cold foods and drinks to reduce sensitivity.
• Mild tooth sensitivity is normal and should fade within a day or two.
• Maintain results with daily brushing, flossing, and regular dental checkups.
Enjoy your whiter, brighter smile!

Professional teeth whitening is a cosmetic service that lightens the natural shade of your teeth by removing surface stains and discoloration. We use professional-grade whitening gels and an LED light system designed to deliver safe, effective results in a single session.
Results vary depending on your natural tooth color, lifestyle habits, and previous staining. Most clients see their teeth brighten by 4–8 shades in just one treatment. We always strive for a natural, radiant look—never an artificial “over-whitened” effect.
Yes! When performed correctly with professional products, teeth whitening is safe. Our gels are made in FDA-registered facilities that follow strict quality and cosmetic manufacturing standards. They are peroxide-based, clinically tested, and designed for cosmetic use.
Most clients feel little to no discomfort. Some may experience mild, temporary tooth sensitivity during or after treatment, which typically fades within 24 hours. We provide care instructions to help minimize any sensitivity.
With proper care, results can last 3-6 months or longer. Longevity depends on lifestyle habits such as drinking coffee, tea, or red wine, or smoking. Many clients choose touch-up sessions every few months to maintain their brightest smile.
Whitening is generally safe for most adults. However, it is not recommended for:
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women
• Children under 16
• People with untreated cavities, gum disease, or extreme tooth sensitivity
• Anyone with dental work (crowns, veneers, fillings) on front teeth—since whitening only works on natural enamel.
We’ll review your information before treatment to ensure it’s right for you.
No! Professional whitening products are formulated to lift stains without damaging the enamel. In fact, the active ingredients open up the pores of your teeth temporarily to release discoloration, and then naturally re-hydrate and remineralize.
Most whitening sessions last about 60–90 minutes, including setup, treatment, and post-care guidance.
Most clients maintain results with 1–3 sessions per year. Touch-ups may be scheduled more frequently depending on your lifestyle and personal preference.
